  Broadcasts issued by WhoIs are not reduced at all. These services are on behalf on every BACnet client executing device discovery and therefore are unpredictable.


A single, slow, high latency network may affect all devices in an internetwork. A BACnet router who transparently interconnect slow and fast networks such as BACNet/IP with BACNetZigbee cause to lower the message rate between peers to the weakest and slowest  network.
